Yikes. These are embarrassing.
There's really no other words for it. And we can't decide which tweet is the dumbest, they are all equally dumb.
Oh, Twitter. Where would we be without you?
Sometimes Twitter gets people really riled up and one guy who really knows how to exploit that is Neil deGrasse Tyson. The scientist's brain is full of amazing information, but sometimes he says things that make us question his genius. His latest tweet about Elsa (from Frozen's) facial proportions has really got Twitter going crazy and shows that he should really stick to the more intellectual side of things.
Check out people's less than complimentary reactions to his observations and then take a look at some of deGrasse Tyson's other condescending tweets that got people angry.
Being an adult isn't easy. Kids assume we've got it all figured out, but truthfully, we have no idea what we're doing most of the time. From struggling to tie our shoelaces to not knowing how much spaghetti you actually need for one portion, here are some of the basic life skills that some adults never mastered, who aren't ashamed to admit it.
I am British and I know that my fellow Brits and I have a special way of making everything awkward. I know, that statement sounds like I'm in some sort of 'Brits Anonymous' meeting, but I think it's important to acknowledge and embrace who we are at the core of our culture. Is it ridiculous that we insist on being so polite all the time? Yes. but would I change anything about it? No, because when you start pointing out the situations we put ourselves in every day, they are pretty hilarious. Twitter page Very British Problems articulates all the awkward nuances of what it means to be "so very British", and they're brilliantly accurate. So get comfy, make yourself a cup of good old British tea, and have a laugh at our expense.
This time of year makes it seem like winter will never end. It's cold, it's miserable and it's grey and summer seems like a world away. You're patiently counting down to your summer vacation, especially if you have kids. Because summer vacations are made up of those blissful moments where your perfectly behaved kids will accompany you sightseeing around Europe and won't complain once about leaving the hotel pool for just one goddamn day. Ok, we're exaggerating. They might have the odd tantrum here or there. Fine, if we're being honest, is it really even a vacation if your kids are with you? Sure, there are some fun moments, but you'll probably need another vacation right after it to recover.
These parents on Twitter managed to capture the all too relatable nightmare moments of traveling with kids, which will make you glad that it's not summer yet!
Twitter has become a breeding ground for roasting anyone and everyone. Sometimes the digs are justified, sometimes they are funny and other times they are just dumb. But when it comes to women roasting men, there's no holding back and sometimes the tweets are brutal (-ly honest), and frankly, very relatable. In a true battle of the sexes, the female wrath is unleashed in all its force and provides us with pure comedy gold in the process.
Here is a selection of some of the funniest tweets from women dragging men to within an inch of their lives.
Jimmy Fallon's Hashtags are a phenomenon that goes viral each time he puts another one out. Asking the public for their stories using one simple hashtag, with a chance to feature on his show, he always receives hilariously epic responses and this one was no different. He asked people to provide their stories using the hashtag #HowIGotFired and sure enough, the public delivered! Here is a selection of some of the funniest ones we found.
When you're done, and if you love Jimmy Fallon, check out the responses he got when he asked people to #RuinAMovieWithOneWord
Yikes. We've got some real foodisaster winners up in here!
To be fair, cooking can rather difficult and most people should be practicing their skills (you know who you are!), 'cause practice makes perfect!
On the other hand... a lot of these just seem like common sense.
Either way, we thoroughly enjoyed reading these and are thankful that even though we aren't that great of cooks... we know not to dump a can of spaghetti sauce into the boiling water.
If you're a woman, sometimes your ovaries will scream "WANT!" at you, when you come across a cute baby. That is known as baby fever.
However, sometimes, you're not ready for such a thing and need to be reminded of that. So, we're here to save you.
You're quite welcome.
Here are 19 tweets that will help you remember that kids are not always as magical as Instagram portrays them to constantly be! Here is the real, unspeakable side to parenting.
Sesame Street is a children's television series filled with great educational messages. And even though it debuted over 50 years ago, kids everywhere (and parents) still watch the beloved children's show.
And even though parents do watch it with their kids, many will say it is absolutely the ban of their existence. With those high-pitched character voices, songs that feel like someone is drilling into your ear-hole, and just nonstop confusing backstories.
Luckily, the parents of today have Twitter to express their true feelings. (Sorry parents of yesterday, we truly do feel your pain)
Parents -- They're are just like us! Err, just with kids..
And when it comes to Netflix, there might not be a more loving and supporting Netflix crowd than parents.
Many parents have admitted to the fact that Netflix does play a large role in their daily life -- or at the very least have tweeted about it.
Here are 22 tweets from parents on their undying love for Netflix (and honestly, same):
Honesty is an important virtue that a majority of parents try to instill on their young ones, so they can grow to be well-rounded individuals.
Not these parents, of course.
Just kidding, we know a little white lie never hurt anyone! In fact, some lies can end up benefiting the kid and their poor, exhausted parents. So what's the harm? Plus, it's kind of freakin' hilarious.
Here is a collection of ridiculous lies that parents have convinced their kids were truths:
Seriously? Why do women need their own pink glue sticks? How is that going to help anyone anywhere?
Here is a Twitter thread, by user @themouseyouknow, on completely and ridiculous products that have for some reason been given genders.
There's even a Twitter account, @genderproducts, dedicated to "collecting discoveries of unnecessarily gendered products from Twitter and around the world."
Twitter user, @exfatalist, asked the 30-year-old's of Twitter, "what is something about aging you always thought was a trope but turned out to be true?"
As one user wrote, "straight up forgetting years."
Years? I can barely recall an entire decade!
