Tweets Of Kids Who Savagely Roasted Their Parents Over Text

Texting with teenagers always comes with the risk that they'll respond the same way they do in person: in monosyllabic grunts. And nothing is more infuriating than a teenager who doesn't communicate and makes you feel like a total idiot for just trying to have a conversation with them. Comedian Maggie Widdoes shared her experience on Twitter of texting a 13-year-old in her life a lovely "Happy birthday" message, only to receive "yeah" in response. Her tweet sparked other people to share their experience of texting teenage kids, siblings, nieces, and nephews and only receiving silence or one-word answers in reply. They prove one thing, and one thing only— kids are brutal!

Woman Refuses To Share Family Recipes With Her Nephews' New Step-Mom

Being married into a family is always difficult. But it is even harder when your new spouse has already been married and everyone prefers or rather misses, their old wife. There are little things a family can do to make someone feel included, like invite them to events, include them in the yearly Christmas card, or give them the secret family recipes. But sometimes family members get protective, especially when a new person enters the scene with no blood relation.

Delusional Mom Refuses To Let 25-Year-Old Daughter Sleep In Same Room As Boyfriend

When we are growing up, we have to follow our parent's rules. It's just the way it is. They feed and clothe us, so we basically have to do whatever they say.

"Be home by 11."

"Oookay."

"Finish your homework."

"Oookay"

"No closing doors when a boy is over."

"Ookay."

They make these rules (usually) to keep us safe, productive, and out of trouble. But sometimes our parents can forget that at some point we pay our own bills, buy our own clothes, and have to make our own decisions. At some point, they have to realize that we're not kids anymore, and we've already moved on from the possibility of teen pregnancy.

Disturbingly Creepy Pregnancy Photos From People Who Probably Shouldn't Be Parents

Parenting is a privilege that not everyone deserves — a fact which usually comes to light once these people have already had their children. But sometimes, you can tell that a couple has bizarre parenting ideas while they are still pregnant, and you can bet that things will only get worse once they've given birth. One telltale sign could be taking creepy, tacky, and cringe-worthy pregnancy pictures, like this group of soon-to-be parents below. I'm not sure who told them that it's a cute idea to dress your pregnant belly up like a basketball or to pose with a gun, but they were wildly misinformed.  Check out these horrifically awkward pregnancy photos below and cringe along with us.

Father Cuts Off Young Daughter's Hair Because She Doesn't 'Maintain It' Properly

Parenting is one of the most challenging jobs in the world, especially when you're a single parent. Parents don't always get it right; in fact, most of the time, they screw up. But the sign of a good parent is one who can admit their mistakes and apologize to their kids when they get it wrong. One dad posted on Reddit, wanting to know how badly he had f*cked up when he cut his daughter's hair. He explained that he is a single parent and struggles to maintain his seven-year-old daughter's hair, which she refuses to take any responsibility for herself. After many discussions with her, he finally cut her hair, which she found very distressing. His mother and sister told him that it was the wrong move, but he is unsure. Redditors gave mixed responses, with many telling him that his reasoning was fair, but the way he carried it out wasn't OK. Below is his account; scroll through and tell us what you think. Is this bad parenting, or were his actions justified?

I'm a single father, and my daughter is 7 years old. She had long hair almost down to her belly button but I can't ever seem to get her to take care of it. I've warned her over the last year that if she doesn't start brushing her hair at least twice a day, we're getting it cut shorte

If you have kids, you'll know how much they love playing with crayons. And by playing, I mean drawing on any surface they shouldn't and smearing them into the carpet. In short, all crafts designed for kids are just nightmares for parents. Whether it's Play-Doh, glitter, or crayons, kids will find ways to use them in all the ways they weren't intended to be used. These funny tweets from parents sum up just how sick of crayons they are, and how close they are to boycotting them altogether.
