Some of these facts are really cool and interesting...and some are just messed up. Don't worry, you'll know it when you see it.

How do you define a 'shower thought'? Subreddit r/showerthoughts have summed it up quite lovely, "The human brain is a decidedly odd machine, often prone to glitches, malfunctions, and internal errors (like inexplicably deciding that raisins are an acceptable addition to cookies). However, within the confines of that chaos, something intriguing occasionally occurs: A seemingly mundane detail about the world will suddenly become more interesting, having been viewed from a slightly different perspective than usual."
So without further ado, let these steamy shower thoughts wash over you as you ponder their truths:
What even is 'Wish'? Has any sane person actually ordered something through them? We simply don't understand what their platform is, who their target demographic is, or how in the world they've managed to accumulate such a plethora of random sh*t no one could ever want.
The very least we can do is make fun of the absurdity that is 'Wish'.

Yikes. Planetary Scientist, Dr. Lauren Mc Keown, shared an short and painful conversation she had on the dating app Hinge. The man who messaged Dr. Mc Keown seemed to have a strong opening line, bringing up how incredibly cool it was that she works at NASA (and honestly, it literally can't get any cooler than that), but soon ruins any chance being demeaning her intelligence and assuming she's the receptionist.
Even though he 'claims' it was a joke, we totally stand behind Dr. Mc Keown's response.
In this Ask Polly letter, a woman suspects her in-laws are trying to deliberately poison/kill her and we're seriously disturbed after reading her entire letter. The advice columnist, Heather Havrilesky, was just as disturbed and shared it on her Twitter account.
Even IF the in-laws believed she wasn't as allergic to mushrooms as the woman claims to be, it's still pretty disgusting behavior to constant parade the food in front of her!

Sometimes, you come across something that makes you pause, this is one of those times. Apparently, there is a Facebook page called, "Toilets With Threatening Auras," and we've never been more intrigued, and terrified, at the same time. We've never really given much thought to an aura of a toilet before, but of course you'd want to feel safe when you're relieving yourself and at a vulnerable state. These images are truly the exact opposite of anything resembling comfortable...
These toilets below to omit a threatening aura.
Imagine that excitement when you finally receive that package in the mail, for an item you were hyped to get, only to discover... it totally sucks. Not only does it suck, it was so completely false advertised to the point of nonrecognition. Here are so of our favorite product fails:
Oh boy, here we go again! We're in the midst of wedding season and the stories are just getting stranger and stranger. This time, we've got bridezilla who is demanding all her bridesmaids be the exact same height. The height? 5'10" (177.8cm). That's a bit bizarre, but what if you're 5-freaking-3?
