Awkward Texts People Sent To Their Parents By Mistake

Everyone knows and can relate to the anxiety caused by sending a text to the wrong person. Whether it's to your boss, an ex-boyfriend, or sending a text about someone to that person by mistake, these slip-ups can cause a mini heart attack each time. But perhaps the worst is when you send a text to your parents containing some sort of sexually explicit message that was clearly meant for someone else. The stress that causes, is another level, and reading through these texts can give you a taste of just how bad some kids have put their foot in it.

Parents Recall The Creepy And Disturbing Things Their Kids Have Done

Kids can be little angels, but they can also be total sh*ts. Any parent can attest that sometimes kids misbehave to the point where they briefly consider disowning them, even though deep down, they adore them. But when your kid does something weird, creepy, or disturbing, the reasons for wanting to disown them can be on a whole new level. Whether it's making comments that suggest they lived a past life, seeing them sleepwalk into dangerous situations, or seeing a weirdly violent side to them, these parents recall the bizarre things their kids did that made them rethink the whole parenting thing.

parents recall the creepiest things their kids have ever done | thumbnail text - Niteryder007 · 1d My 12 year old will occasionally scream while sleeping. It makes your hair stand up when you get woke from a deep sleep. I have also woken up in the middle of the night to see him standing right next to my bed. Sometimes just facing the wall or staring at me. He is always "sleep walking" and I can escort him back to bed. Trouble is, I never know how long he has been up. He never remembers any of it

Parents Trying Not To Flip Out At Their Kids For Ruining Their Expensive Things

Having kids is a true blessing, but sometimes they can test our patience to unhealthy levels. For example, one thing that young children aren't so good at is understanding the value of money or valuables. So when they accidentally break something expensive or irreplaceable, unfortunately, you can't be too mad at them. Parents of Reddit have revealed the most expensive things their children ruined by mistake and I can only imagine the self-restraint they had to exercise in order to not kill their kids on the spot!

People Call Out Their 'Insane Parents' Crazy Behavior

Unfortunately, having kids doesn't necessarily make you a good parent. Plenty of people have kids who quite frankly shouldn't, and it's a wonder they managed to keep their kids alive. Thankfully, most parents tend to figure it out along the way and raise their kids into decent human beings, despite their shortcomings. Speaking of shortcomings, we know some parents have more than others, but some have a sh*t load, exhibiting some truly narcissistic and toxic behaviors. A Reddit thread where people can show just how insane the parents are is making a stir for all the wrong reasons, and it is full of examples of how bad some parents can get. If you thought your parents were terrible, take a look at these horrors and think again...

Entitled Mother Crashes Father-Daughter Camping Trip, Ruins It By Making It About Herself

Reddit's infamous "Am I The A$$hole?" subreddit never ceases to disappoint when it comes to providing all the fam drama. As per usual, we're so here for the tea. In short, the original poster is a teen who was excited about treating her dad on an all-expenses camping trip in honor of Father's Day. Even though her mom hates camping, she decided to come along and made the trip all about herself. According to the OP, her mom kept trying to get rid of her, even trying to get her to hang out with other teens at the campsite so that the two of them could have alone time. OP was not having it and eventually flipped out at her mom, who stormed out in tears. So, who's the jerk in the situation? Scroll down for more context.

Wild Stuff Parents Found In Their Kid's Rooms But Kept Quiet

Snooping through your kid's stuff is never a good idea because you will always find something you didn't want to see. And you can't unsee something. Plus, it's not a great way to build trust. Parents on a Reddit thread shared some of the weird things they found in their kid's rooms but never told their kids they found. From the cute love letters to the awkward sex toys, it's all here. Have you ever been in a similar situation?

crazy things parents found in kids bedrooms but kept quiet about - Text - browncoat47 13.1k points · 21 hours ago We had to move our kid out of a bad living situation. She wasn't in any condition to help. So wife and I go in and just start grabbing her stuff. We come across her adult baby fetish gear. Like two duffel bags of it, giant onesies, binkis, diapers etc. Wife looked at me, I looked at her, we shut each bag and have never spoken of it again.

Abusive Mother Ignores Teen Daughter's Desperate Request To See A Doctor For Years

We hate gyno appointments just as much as the next girl, but it's integral to check in on our health once in a while. As adult women, we're capable of booking necessary appointments by ourselves. However, what are you supposed to do if you're a teen girl whose mom has been refusing to book her an appointment for years? That's exactly what happened in a thread posted on Reddit's infamous "Am I The A$$hole?" subreddit this week. When the girl finally mustered up the courage to book an appointment herself, her mother was livid and insisted that she pay for the appointment by herself since she booked it without her permission. Yikes. We definitely think the mom is in the wrong here, but what do you guys think? Scroll down for more context.

Man's Family Harasses Pregnant GF After She Refuses To Move In To Run Down House

Buying a house is a huge step to make. Some people avoid it for the majority of their lives because it's not something you can easily take back. Renting a place and owning it are two entirely different experiences. When you rent, you don't have to think long term, only until the end of your lease. When you own, well it's yours now, so you better make sure it's maintainable and worth all the effort.

The main point we're getting at here is... it's not a decision to be made rashly, and if you have a significant other who's meant to move in with you, maybe let them have a look before you make one of the largest investments of your life. Just some food for thought.

Dads Who Totally Lost It In The Delivery Room

Women are inherently stronger than men. How do we know this? Because no man would willingly give birth or go through labor pains. The proof in the pudding is these dads who totally lost it during the delivery of their children. Even though they weren't going through the physical pain themselves, they couldn't handle the heat. Men, get out of the freaking kitchen delivery room if you can't handle the heat.

How Parents Reacted When They Found Out Their Kids Were Porn Stars

Most parents have professional aspirations for their kids. From the medical, legal, or any other field, parents want their kids to succeed. Sometimes kids follow their parent's path and choose the same professions; others find their own way. But most children want to make their parents proud, and most parents want to be proud of their kids. However, sometimes the path children choose can make their parents kind of, how can we put it... f*cking disappointed. And nothing disappoints a parent more than finding out that children are in the porn industry. Maybe you know a porn star personally and can ask them how their parents reacted when they found out what line of work their kid was in. But just in case you don't, here are other people's stories of how their parents took the news that their kids were getting paid to have sex on camera. Spoiler alert: unless you're Kim K, your parents probably won't be thrilled.

Delusional Mom Fuming When Kids Won't Celebrate Father's Day With Jerk Step-Dad

Father's Day can be a tricky holiday when your parents are separated and you may have more than one father. And considering 50% of marriages end in divorce, this is not an uncommon issue. Luckily there are many ways to make it work. First of all, Father's Day always hits on the weekend, so you can split up the weekend and dedicate one day to eat one. Or you can split up the day, really it should all be up to the children, and who they view as father figures in their life. Blood isn't the ultimate bonder in life, there are plenty of children who very much look up to their step-fathers or non-biological fathers. But every situation is different, and you can't make your children call a random man in their lives 'Dad.' Sorry sh*tty step-dads of the world, the title can't be forced, it's something you earn.

Babysitters Reveal Dark Secrets Of Seemingly Normal Parents

When you're a regular babysitter for a family, you get insight into their personal life. You learn their secrets (mostly through snooping around), but also through speaking to the kids. Because let's face it, kids have no filter. So this Reddit thread was a perfect opportunity for babysitters to spill the secrets of the seemingly "normal" families that they babysit - although what does normal even mean anymore?

Crazy Mom Ashamed Of Son's Vasectomy, Instead Tells People His Wife Is Infertile

A lot of parents place excessive pressure on their children to bring them, grandchildren. It's nothing new, and if you plan to have kids anyway, it's not such a big deal. But not everyone wants children, and we don't 'owe' our parents grandchildren. If they want to take care of something so badly, invest in some kind of house-pet, or succulent.

If one's parents are understanding, eventually they should be able to respect that their children don't want to have kids. But some parents can just get more and more obsessed with the lack of toddlers in their life and just progressively lose their sh*t.

Smug Mother Says Racist Slur Repeatedly In Front Of Half-Black Daughter

Intermarriage is much more common than it used to be, and it's a wonderful thing that it has become normalized in society. However, it can be really difficult for parents to understand that their mixed children may experience a completely different upbringing than their own. It doesn't mean they should be treated any differently, but it means they probably have developed much thicker skin than one of their parents would ever require. They probably face more adversity and for that reason, their parents should be even more empathetic to them. However not every parent possesses that level of compassion, and it shows.

Iconic Father's Day Tweets From Dads Who Deserve A Raise, Or At Least A Long Nap

Father's Day is upon us once again. This year is basically guaranteed to be better than the last due to... obvious reasons. Luckily there are many more options if you're looking for a fun place to take your old man. Don't ask us what to buy him though, it has (un)officially been decided that dads are the hardest people to buy gifts for — a close second being older brothers. How many ties can a man possibly own after all?
