Guy Ruins Wife's Expensive Gender Reveal On Social Media, Pissing Her Off Big Time

In my humble opinion, one of the worst trends that social media has perpetuated in the last few years is the gender reveal party. Never has there been a worse excuse to celebrate something that doesn't need celebrating. Parents, trust me, aside from you and possibly your parents, no one else is as invested in the sex of your baby. Let me say that again for the people at the back: NO ONE CARES! People have taken the trend way too far, spending insane amounts of money revealing the gender of their baby, and the madness needs to stop. One father, who also clearly feels the same, wrote to Reddit's Am I The Asshole after sabotaging his wife's $4K elaborate gender reveal plan for their unborn (spoiler alert) son. He posted the gender on Facebook instead, which left his wife understandably gutted. People commented with mixed reviews, some calling him an asshole for sabotaging his wife's announcement in the way he did, but others congratulated him for putting a stop to spending so much money on the gender reveal. What do you think? Asshole or not?

Husband Trolled For Telling Wife To 'F— Off' After Job Promotion

A healthy marriage is about a partnership. It means celebrating each other's successes — both professional and personal — and realizing that one person's achievement benefits both people in the relationship. But sometimes, the fragile male ego gets in the way, leaving some men unable to celebrate their wives' success, especially if they feel insecure about their accomplishments. Like this guy who posted on Reddit's Am I The A-hole, who couldn't handle the fact that his wife received a promotion at work while he was unemployed. Instead of celebrating her success, he accused her of "bragging" about it (which, of course, she wasn't, she was only hoping her husband would show her the basic and expected levels of pride and support). Of course, everyone accused him of toxic masculinity and called him a massive a**hole. Personally, I can't even believe this guy is real.

Man Tells Fiancé Not To Wear White Wedding Dress, Because No Longer A virgin

Reddit's Am I the A- hole is a place full of real, well... a**holes. But it's especially full of men who hold archaic, misogynistic views of the world and who deserve naming and shaming. Take this guy, for example, who asked his fiance not to wear a white wedding dress because she was no longer a virgin. Oh, and it was essentially only to please his "traditional" family. Unsurprisingly, she is having second thoughts about marrying this gem of a man, and he doesn't understand why. Redditers jumped to her defense, calling out his glaringly obvious red flags, such as the unhealthy boundaries between him and his family and the fact that their age gap of ten years creates some child-bride like dynamics. This poor girl needs to RUN, and fast, from this slut-shaming energy. Honestly, some people...

Ex-Wife Won't Change Her Married Name, Despite New Wife's Unreasonable Demands

A woman posted on the subreddit Am I The A-Hole wanting to know whether her former husband's new wife was unreasonable in requesting that she change her married name. The ex-wife texted the former wife asked her to revert to her maiden name, "Because we are married now, and I'm his wife. I should be the only one with his last name." The OP wrote that she and her ex, "have not been married for over 12 years. The reason I did not change my name is due to all my professional certifications and licenses. Ex and I agreed when we got divorced that it was too much of a hassle to change everything, and I would keep my last name the same to avoid the stress and headache of having to do that."

Of course, Redditers jumped to her defense and calling out the new wife for being unreasonable, as well as her former husband for indulging the nonsense. See what you think of this ridiculous woman.

Funny Comic About The Power Of Women's Reassurance

Us modern women are powerhouses; we do it all. But juggling motherhood, careers, husbands, boyfriends, and our own sanity can be draining, and it's not always easy to give everyone the undivided attention they deserve. And so, sometimes, a simple "good job" has to suffice, even when it does not deserve praise in the damn slightest. From reassuring our kids that their artwork is better than Picasso to convincing our husbands that we didn't fantasize about Brad Pitt when after our standard fortnightly missionary romp, we spend a lot of our lives saying "good job," even when the job was not a good one. Daniella London Dekel has captured the power of a woman's reassurance in this heartwarming and funny comic.

Woman Discovers Husband Doesn't Change Underwear Daily, Debate Ensues

You think you know someone when you commit to sharing your life with them, but there are always a few surprises that get revealed along the way. One woman was horrified to discover that her husband doesn't change his underwear daily and often goes a few days before changing into a fresh pair. She posted her dilemma on Reddit, asking if she's missing something regarding male hygiene because she (rightly) finds her husband's habit somewhat disturbing. Most people reassured her that men and women share the same basic rules, including changing your underwear on a daily basis. Check out some of the responses to this poor woman's crisis.

Mom Makes Husband Take Over 'Household Duties' For a Day, Plays Video Games

The division of labor at home is an essential discussion that couples need to have before moving in together or getting married. The boundaries of traditional gender roles are becoming more and more blurred, as two incomes become necessary for many families to survive. But, if you're a woman and you're in the position to be a stay-at-home mom, then that's not to say you've got the easy way out at all. Stay-at-home moms have it tough, and being able to count on your husband or partner for support when they get home from work is a crucial part of the role. One stay-at-home mom of four was so sick of her husband's lack of contribution to the housework or child-raising that she decided to boycott her 'duties' one weekend, spending the whole Saturday locked in a room, playing video games. Her husband was furious and even called his mom to complain, who then had a go at her DIL (hi, manchild!) The woman posted on Reddit's Am I The A-Hole, to get an outside perspective as to whether she was overacting or whether marriage counseling was the only thing that would save the marriage. Read through the comments, which are all pro-her. Her husband sounds unbearable and like he lives in the '50s.

Husband Refuses To Look At Wife's 'Desperate' Boudoir Photos, Internet Scolds Him

The internet is full of people who make you say "WTF," and this guy is undoubtedly one of them. He posted on the subreddit Am I The A-Hole, explaining how he thought the surprise professional boudoir photos his wife had taken for him were "desperate" and indicative of the midlife crisis he suspected she was having. This absolute gem of a husband explained how his "aging" 41-year-old wife looks starkly different from "everybody else in our group of mid to late thirties people," adding, "Frankly I don't think the boudoir photos make her any more or less flattering... a quick glance at them did nothing for me."

Ummm, OK. First off, any change in appearance over two or three years at that age is negligible. Anyone sensible knows that. So, this guy's delusional views on what women should look like are already painting a picture of the type of person he is. Secondly, his poor wife, who quite clearly feels insecure about her body (probably because of her dckwad of a husband who makes her feel like total sht), was looking for a confidence boost. His reaction is at best indifferent, and at worst, feeding and magnifying all her insecurities, making her feel like total sht. As you probably guessed, Redditors unanimously voted him an a*hole. Please scroll down for his story and to see the comments people left him. Spoiler: they didn't hold back.

Wife Refuses To Stay With Husband If He Got Hypothetical Sex Change

Sometimes in life, you get faced with questions for which there are no right answers. These impossible hypotheticals force you between a rock and a hard place and can make life pretty awkward. For example, when your husband asks you if you'd stay married to him if he got a sex change. I mean, what does one even say to that? If you stay with him, you're forced to stay married to someone you're no longer attracted to. If you bail, then is it really true love?

I know I'd be out, but if you'd stay with him, props to you, my friend, because that is some deeply serious love and commitment. One woman posted her predicament on the subreddit Am I The A-Hole to see how other people would react to her awkward position. The majority of users reassured her that she wasn't the a**hole, saying that her husband was either about to come out as trans or was a highly manipulative individual. Read through her predicament and then see if you agree with the comments.
