Guy Accuses His Brother's Wife Of Cheating Because She Started Wearing Makeup

Having not put on a full face of makeup for the best part of a year, I jump at any opportunity to get dressed up. Or at least to feel like I've put some effort into my appearance, because how long can a girl wear sweats and have her hair in a messy bun before she goes insane? So I fully support any woman who puts on makeup to feel good about the way she looks, even if it's to stay at home. Unfortunately, not everyone agrees with me. One guy posted on Reddit's Am I The A—hole, explaining that his wife, who received some makeup as a gift, has started experimenting with different looks, adding that "she's really talented with it, and she's having a lot of fun." So far, so good.

That is until his brother "decided she must be posting pictures or sending pics to some dude or multiple dudes," aka, she must be cheating because there's no other explanation as to why she'd suddenly be wearing makeup. Of course, women only wear makeup to cheat on their partners, right? The woman's husband called his brother an "insecure, testicle grabbing, chauvinist man-baby," which obviously didn't go down well. Read the whole story below, and see how quickly Redditor's jump to her defense, commend the OP for his healthy attitude towards the entire thing and call out the toxic brother-in-law for projecting all hit sh*t onto his brother's wife.

Woman Reveals The Double-Standard Behind How We View Violence By Women Vs. By Men

You have probably heard this at least once before, but men and women get treated quite differently. I think it's called inequality? I don't know, it's so embedded into our culture it's hard to even recognize it sometimes.

Seriously, you can see the inequality in almost every context. It's the kind of thing where, once somebody points it out to you, you can't go back to ignoring it. This woman shared on Tumblr how it is especially apparent in the media.

Woman Asks If She's Wrong For Blasting Music To Drown Out Neighbor's Loud Kids

Moving to a new house is always a roll of the dice regarding what type of neighbors you'll get. You might luck out and end up living next to people who respect your privacy, don't make a loud noise, and are friendly at just the appropriate level. Or, you might land yourself nightmare neighbors who make your life a misery. Unfortunately, there isn't any way of knowing until you've moved. One woman, whose new neighbors fell into the latter category — in the form of noisy kids, decided to take action and drown out the noise by playing loud music. She posted on Reddit's Am I the As*hole, asking whether she was in the wrong for doing so.

Insanely Naive Man Believes Women Actually Enjoy Getting A Pap Smear

There are many things a pap smear is, but pleasurable is definitely not one of them. Shoving a speculum way up there to scrape cells off the cervix in order to check them for cancer sounds like the opposite of a good time. I thought this harsh truth was common knowledge up until I came across a tweet in which a woman documents her convo with a man about pap smears at the gyno. Once she gave him some insight into what does down at a pap smear, he tried to respond in solidarity, but failed miserably, stating that it could be awkward if "they hit a spot that makes you awkwardly moan." Yep, yikes. Scroll down for the hilarious responses of the Twitter sphere.

Woman Wants To Report Therapist For Breaking Confidentiality By Speaking To Her Stepmom

Confidentiality between therapists (and all other medical professionals) and their clients is kind of a big deal, which, if breached, is cause for dismissal and removal of their medical license. I mean, if I found out my therapist had shared information discussed in our sessions with someone else, I'd be furious. But If I discovered that she'd shared it with anyone in my family, it would be a whole new level of hell. A hell which one girl found herself in when she found out her therapist had been sharing notes from their sessions with her new stepmom.

Relatable Tweets About Barely Surviving Your Period

The fact that women have to go through their painful periods once a month should be illegal. Ain't nobody got time to go through that kind of pain on a monthly basis. If the intense cramps and blood rushing out of your uterus weren't already enough, we also have to be bloated and emotional. The whole ordeal is worn out already in my opinion. We should be trying something new at this point. The women of Twitter have had it up to here with their period struggles, and are set on letting the whole world know. Here are this week's most relatable tweets about having to undergo your period once a month.

Childfree Woman With Demanding Job Upset At Moms For Claiming Monopoly On Tiredness

We all have that one friend who just cannot stop 'sneak-bragging' about how overwhelmed they are, how they just barely have enough time to eat or sleep or exercise. Yet it seems as though they really make the time to tell you all of this, literally every single day. And of course, they never ask you about your life and your duties, because they're so cute and little compared to hers. You couldn't possibly understand what it's like to be tired! Why is it always a competition of who is busier? I know this must be making you think of somebody.

Before we get into this aggravating 'Am I The A-hole' post, if you feel pissed off already and want to scream, feel free to let it all out.

Women Confess The Biggest Mistakes They Made In Their 20's

Nobody wants to live with regrets, but we all have them. It's nearly impossible to avoid them, because every time we do one thing, we're missing out on another experience. Plus, the grass is always greener on the other side. Those of us that spent college partying and getting bad grades regret not trying hard enough, and those of us who spent every Friday night in the library after-hours regret not partying enough. You can't win! Unless of course, you believe that everything happens for a reason, and you accept that every decision led you to where you are today, and that is exactly where you are meant to be... but that's some deep introspective sh*t.

Twitter Roasts Woman For Her Unrealistic Expectations For Men

Everybody has their own preferences about how they want their significant other to present themself. Some people like the e-boy look with their painted nails and hand tattoos. Some people prefer the sporty look where they got on their sweatbands and short shorts. And some people simp over hipsters in beanies, flannels, and aggressive man-buns. There really is someone for everyone. However, just because someone's 'look' isn't your cup of tea, it doesn't change how manly, masculine, or mature they are.

So if you want to avoid being roasted on Twitter, my advice would be: Go ahead, share and celebrate your type, but don't try to use something as superficial as style as a basic standard for what qualifies a 'real man.'

Woman Fuming After Coworker Steals Her Sonogram For Pregnancy Prank Against Ex BF

A new baby on the way is exciting news! Generally, people can't wait to tell their friends and family about the bundle of joy that they're about to bring into the world. Usually, people express their excitement for the expecting parents, and everyone goes on their merry way. A Reddit user recently expressed her deep-seated concern about a coworker who stole the picture of the shared sonogram to prank her ex-boyfriend into thinking the baby was his. The mom-to-be took to Reddit to ask if she's the a**hole for freaking out about it. Read the thread, and decide for yourself.

Woman Refuses To Wear Bra At Work Despite Coworkers Complaints

Being an employee means adhering to specific workplace rules and risking inevitable consequences if you don't. Included in those policies is the dress-code, which will, of course, differ depending on where you work. However, sometimes the rules aren't so clear-cut and can be left open to the employee's interpretation—for example, deciding whether or not wearing a bra is necessary. One woman faced this very problem and posted on Reddit's Am I The A**hole after receiving complaints from her new coworkers about her refusal to wear a bra in the office. She stresses that she didn't wear a bra at her previous job, her nipples weren't on show, and a sweater hid her 'large boobs,' and she was, in her opinion, entirely appropriate. Redditors, however, disagreed and argued that, although it sucks, it was unprofessional and if she didn't like the policy at her new workplace, she should find another job. What do you think?

Woman Reveals Difference Between How Men and Women View Friendship

Ever drove yourself crazy not being able to understand the motives of a man? Well, you're not alone. There has to be a reason behind how basically every time a girl is nice to a guy it's perceived as flirting. And if god forbid a girl refers to him as her friend, BOOM, he's 'friend-zoned.' But, why? Can girls and guys just not be friends? Is it not okay to be around a guy, and laugh at his jokes, but not want to sleep with him?

Women Reveal Times They Were Severely Underestimated

Being a woman definitely has its perks. We can wear whatever we want, cry whenever we want, and sleep with whoever we want — Just kidding, in that case, we'd be called "easy." But seriously it is 2021, a woman no longer strives to simply marry rich, they are smart, strong, and independent boss bitches. It has become increasingly clear that women are more than capable to support themselves, as well as their husbands and families, It is time the service world catches up as well.

Boss Dragged For Claiming Employee's Morning Sickness 'Counteracts Feminist Movement'

If you ever need a stark reminder that sexism is still very much alive and well, here's a story for ya. A male employer recently posted a rant on Reddit's Am I The AHole, expressing his displeasure over his (by the sounds of it, very much overworked) female employee's productivity being affected by her morning sickness. Yeah, no sh*t Sherlock. Try going through one day of pregnancy, and then mansplain about what a breeze it is. He said that since she was only in her "first trimester and barely even pregnant yet," he didn't think it was "fair to other women that she was using a normal bodily function as an excuse for low productivity." Ummm OK. Death is also a 'normal bodily function,' so I'm not sure that argument holds up. The cherry on the top of his ignorant, misogynistic rant was him telling her, "This is what women fought to counteract during the feminist movement." OK, so two things are clear to me: not only does this idiot have zero comprehension of how difficult pregnancy can be, but he's completely missed the point that his dismissal of her medical issues because it's pregnancy-related, is the sexist part. As you can imagine, Redditors were quick to jump down his throat, calling him out on being the a—hole that he is. God help his wife when she is pregnant.

Tweets About Being A Woman Without Saying 'Woman'

A tweet asking women to "Tell me you're a woman without telling me you're a woman" has gone viral. And not necessarily for positive reasons. Hundreds of women commented, describing their experiences of being women without revealing their gender in a sentence or two. The majority of comments pointed out an inequality, discrimination, or assumption that they face from the world as a woman, whether it was about their safety when walking alone, the pressures of motherhood, or their career prospects. Here are some of the comments, which show just how far the world still needs to go regarding women's equality.
