Non-Americans Roast The Things They Truly Don't Understand About American Schools

There are so many movies and shows about American high schools. They seem extremely cheesy on the TV, but what a lot of non-Americans might not realize is how much of it is kind of accurate. It already feels like I am writing the plot of a new TV show because that is just how ridiculous some of our norms seem.

Being a woman is a constant challenge. We get paid significantly less and then objectified significantly more. We're always having to fight for more or less of something because we know damn well that nothing is going to be handed to us. It's amazing how much we put up with when you really think about it. Those are the scariest things, and the only people who can uncover such oppressive behaviors and call out society for their f**ked up constructs are us.

In this Reddit thread women share the messed up things they have to deal with each and every day.
