Woman Insists On Giving Her Child The Same Name As Her Sister's Deceased Daughter

It's normal to feel in competition with your siblings, you have usually been compared to them a lot. And the idea of sibling rivalries are nothing new, they're almost natural as everyone wants the most attention and to have their parents be proud of them. But at what point do sibling rivalries cross the line? You can steal each other's clothes, hobbies, but baby names? That might be the line, especially if it's a child that's no longer with us. That's what you call toxic.

Guy Calls Wife Crazy Because She Doesn't Want To Host His 'Friend' From The Internet

Hosting is definitely a skill that some people have and some people don't. If you didn't grow up in a big hosting household you can feel uncomfortable with the idea of inviting people over, but it's definitely something you can work on.

That all being said… You are under no obligation to host anyone ever, especially overnight and especially people you don't really know. We are all adults here, and it's ok to admit that it's uncomfortable to have strangers sleeping in the room next to you. There's a reason our homes aren't hostels.

Toxic Mom Tells Daughter She Can Either Pay To Live At Home Or Leave

Having a big family can definitely be a blessing and a curse. You're never bored, but you also barely have access to any form of privacy, and sometimes have limited time to work on yourself. Depending on how functional the family dynamic is, having many family members can be like having a large support system. Or it's just like having a large responsibility. It's important to teach your children the value of earning certain on their own, but at what cost? It clearly should not be framed as an ultimatum.

Crazy Guy Forces Fiancé To Pee At Gas Station So He Can Take 3 Hour Baths Undisturbed

Moving in with someone is a massive step to take. Sharing a space allows you to see your roommate's true colors, and there will undeniably be occasional friction taking place between you two as you adjust to the new living situation. This is just to say that there needs to be a fair share of compromise to get through it all. If there's only one fridge, each person should be able to use at least half, all bills should be split evenly, and if there's only one bathroom there shall be no bathtub hoarding.

If you've read some of our previous stuff, you'll know that we've had our fair share of bones to pick with the male species. To be fair, they have some bones to pick with us too. Hey - we never said we were perfect, but we're trying our best out here. Apparently, fellow men have taken issue with specific male behaviors too. Ungrateful Husband Angry At Wife For Leaving Him 'Stranded' When She Puts Baby To Bed

Parenting is one of the most difficult jobs a person can have. Many people amazingly manage to do it all on their own, but obviously the more help the better. Even though we don't live in 1952 anymore, many families still adhere to the nuclear family structure where all of the housework responsibility is loaded the wife. This structure is getting less and less common, but you'd be surprised how many people still find this to be the ideal...

Racist Woman Ridicules Chef Brother-In-Law's Asian Cooking, Ignites Family War

Reddit's infamous "Am I The A$$hole?" subreddit never ceases to provide all the family drama. I mean, who knew that a subreddit could double as a reality tv show?! In this week's episode, the original poster started a thread calling his sister-in-law out for being racist. He's a chef at a high-end Chinese restaurant. As a chef at a high-end French restaurant, his sister-in-law doesn't take his cooking seriously, going so far as to call it cooking "Kung Pao chicken" unimpressive at the latest family gathering. The OP stormed off, and the conflict between the two of them spread to the entire family. Obvi, we're always here for the tea. Read below for more context, and let us know what you guys think in the comments.

Toxic Bride Repeatedly Tells Friend That Her Boyfriend Is Far Too Good For Her

Best friends are usually there to provide advice and guidance to us throughout our hard times. They're also one of the only people who will be brutally honest with us when everybody else subtly sugar-coats stuff. But whichever role they take, they're meant to have our best interests at heart. Having a toxic best friend is no different than having a toxic boyfriend, the red flags can be really hard to see in either situation. Sometimes something major has to take place in order for you to finally see them for the sh*tty person they are. Better late than never we suppose...

People Reveal The Last Straw That Ended Their Previous Relationships

Relationships can be very difficult. People keep secrets, start making assumptions, and sometimes even engage in affairs. It's honestly amazing that any of us are still romantics these days. What keeps us going? Love is one of the most addictive drugs. Even after the most severe of heartbreaks we still come running back for more. Is it because we want babies? Unlikely.

If anyone has any legitimate theories for why we're like this, let us know.

TikTok Users Disclose Toxic Comebacks That Can Be Used Against Even More Toxic Boys

It can be so frustrating when you're in the middle of a fight and you just have nothing clever to say. Even more so when it's with some toxic guy who was successful in gaslighting the hell out of you. Luckily the women of TikTok came equipped with some thick comebacks that definitely have the capability of cutting deep. Of course, it depends on the context and the relationship (these should only be used on the worst of people), but many of these are definitely satisfying and may even give you that 'main character' attitude, which we could all use a little more of sometimes.

Non-Obvious Red Flags In Friendships Which Can Make Some Serious Damage

We are often very picky when it comes to choosing our potential partners. We go on multiple dates, wait to open up, and often ask other people for advice on whether the relationship is healthy. For whatever reason, we do not go to this extent for friendships as well. A lot of the time friendships come out of straight convenience, and it might be because I'm a bit of an over-sharer but I definitely do not wait to make sure I can fully trust them before I get into some deep topics with friends.

Just like in romantic relationships, there are definitely red flags in friendships that you don't always see. Luckily, people are pointing them out on Reddit.
