Men In Their Twenties Consider Accepting 16-Year Old Girl As Their Roommate

On this week's episode of "men can be creepy AF," a concerned man started a Reddit thread about his roommates are considering accepting a 16-year-old girl as their roommate. Apparently, she claims to be emancipated but has no proof that she actually is. In case you missed it, these men are in their twenties. Only one roommate - the original poster - thinks that this is a disaster waiting to happen, and all the Redditors on the thread unanimously agree with him. What do you think? Is this about to explode in their faces? How creepy are these roomies on a scale of one to ten? Let us know in the comments.

Basically, I have three roommates and we're all guys between the ages of 22-24. We've been looking for a new roommate since our last one moved out, they're currently deciding if we should let a 16-year-old girl move in with us, I'm the only one who seems to think this is weird. Teen Girl Yelled At By Parents For Allowing Her Uncle To Buy Her Pads And Tampons

Getting your period can be very uncomfortable for teen girls. For whatever reason, we are subtly taught to be ashamed of our monthly cycle and are encouraged to hide this very pertinent part of our lives. You might think the world has made some progress in terms of celebrating womanhood, but there are still people who try to convince young girls that their period is gross, and they need to learn how to 'control it'.

Laughable Things Which Used To Turn People On In Their Awkward Teen Years

We all have some weird kinks that get us hot and heavy for no apparent reason, it's a natural part of being a sexual being. but even before we experienced our first sexual experiences, we still had a list of wacky things or characters that turned us on. It's just one of the many awesome parts of going through puberty; awkward hair growth, painful zits, and ridiculously disorganized hormones. Luckily these phases do not usually last forever (even though we've all had our fair share of adult-acne), eventually, we can all look back and laugh at the inexplicable things that may or may not have triggered our sexual awakenings.

The Dumbest Things People Did As Teens

Teens are always up to all types of shady sh*t, but all of us were once teens. While teenhood may still seem distant, we still have fond memories of all the good, the bad, and the ugly of our teenage years. We recently uncovered a 6-year-old Reddit thread about the craziest things people did as teens, and I don't think I can keep up with all these cool albeit stupid kids. Personally, my high school experience was nerdy, peaceful, and quiet. Scroll down for the peak of teenage stupidity.

My friends were jumping on the train (we were gonna trainhop across town) and I decided to dash underneath one of the train cars to freak my friends out. I got to the other side without tripping or anything, but in hindsight that risk vs. reward was monumentally stupid.

Well...here's what the characters' Tinders would look like, just read them and you'll see what I mean.

People Confess Past Obsessions They Swore Were Not A Phase But Ended Up Being A Phase

A large part of growing up is gaining new obsessions. While it's happening, we like to believe that, 'It's not a phase, mom!' But it doesn't take too long to realize, yep, that was definitely a phase. For example, I used to be obsessed with Spongebob. Yeah, Mr. Squarepants. I actually wanted him painted all over my room. I guess I thought I was going to forever be into iconic Nickelodeon shows... but alas, this phased probably lasted no longer than 6 months.

People are sharing the things they used to be obsessed with that they didn't exactly take with them into their adult life. Classic.

Father Demands Babysitter To Cough Up $2,200 To Replace Guitar Which His Child Broke

As a teen, babysitting is one of the best gigs you can get. Kids can be super entertaining, and you legitimately get paid to let them watch TV, or play Minecraft, or make TikToks — whatever kids are up to these days. It's always the absolute best when the kids are already asleep when you show up. From that point on it's just Netflix and snacks. (Much better than Netflix and chill)

Obviously, it's not all sunshine as daisies though. Some kids can be utter nightmares and really try to test your patience. But what's even worse than bratty kids are unreasonable parents.

We hired a babysitter we've had a few times at a good rate of $20/hr since it was only for 3 hours in our home. The babysitter is a 19 year old woman if it matters, I think maybe the age will affect something.

Irish Teen Punished After Refusing To Have Her Culture Exploited In American High School

Moving from one school to another one is always a huge step. It's never fun to be the new kid. What's even harder is moving from one school to another one in a completely different country. Now, not only are you the new kid, but you're the new kid with a new accent and a new culture that you suddenly have to become the representative for.

Americans and foreigners have an interesting relationship. Firstly, a lot of Americans consider everyone to be a foreigner, even when they are living in their own country. Sometimes it can be difficult to move past stereotypes when trying to learn about someone else's background. It is a good thing to celebrate other people's cultures, and ask them questions with an open mind, but we need to understand that sometimes people just don't want to share.

Fifteen Things Adults Believe All Teenagers Should Know

It's kind of funny how every year we get older and realize there were so many things that we didn't need to stress about so much in our past. My father once told me, "If it's not going to matter in 5 years, it doesn't really matter at all," and now I'm beginning to understand what he meant. Sometimes it can feel like older adults don't understand what younger adults are going through, but usually, they can. They literally went through it themselves and came out the other end okay it seems.

Of course, some things change, and we face different issues from our parents, but some pieces of advice, like many of the ones mentioned in this Reddit thread, will always be applicable.

Funniest Tweets Celebrating The Iconic 15 Year Anniversary Of Hannah Montana

Okay, I sincerely apologize if this makes you feel old but it has in fact been 15 years since the original episode of Hannah Montana aired on Disney Channel. I can barely believe it either. So much about the show was iconic, I don't even know where to begin. We all wanted to dye our hair blonde and get bangs. We all tried to convince our friends that we were also living a double life. We all didn't understand how Robbie Ray Stewart got away with hiding his celeb status by wearing no other disguise other than a mustache, but we let him do it anyway. A true icon as well.

#HannahMontana was rightfully trending on Twitter, and people celebrated the anniversary by bringing us back to some of the most hilarious moments. Oh, she also just got verified, it only took 15 years!

In case you see this Hannah, I love you.

Women Reveal Ridiculous Stories Of How They Swore They Were Pregnant

Okay, this is definitely a thing. As girls, we usually all learn about what being pregnant is before we fully understand what sex is. This results in a delay of information, a disconnect you might say. We know that we are the gender that has babies, but what leads up to that? Some parents will try to scare their kids by saying that they can get pregnant in all kinds of ways. Thank god we have the internet these days. Just try not to get sucked into the "I didn't know I was pregnant" stories.

People Expose Their Shortest Relationships

The choice to begin a relationship is a biggie. So often we tell ourselves to not over-think that decision, to ~follow our hearts~, but sometimes our heart is just confused AF and then we have to effectively undo our spontaneous decisions. Seems harsh, but maybe it's still better than knowing you're not into it and stringing the other person along for months, maybe years? Decide for yourself.
