Does anyone remember funny guy David Vienna? Well, if you don't here is a time to start and get to know him. Science of Parenthood first got to know the funny man back in 2015 when he was telling parents around the world over to calm the fck down. Literally. That was the title of his book, Calm The Fck Down: The Only Parenting Technique You'll Ever Need. Based on a viral post from his Daddy Complex blog, his book encouraged parents to stop freaking out about their kids, use some common sense and just parent. (Sounds so easy right?) We mean, it's all good and dandy/ a great piece of advice... but umm we are always going to freak out!
Keeping your kids entertained is actually a very difficult job. They go from one thing to another in less than .003 seconds. If you're lucky they will be distracted by something for a good 10 mins. And that is just pure luck! So you need to be creative. Just like La Guardia Cross and activities with his toddler daughter!
Now don't be fooled. La Guardia Cross has no experience when it comes to baking a cake, and neither does his 2 year old daughter. So isn't it a fun activity to do together? Take a look and laugh...
Little league, pewee soccer, some volleyball and lets throw in some swimming lesson shall we. Remember those? Going through those now? So you're basically living in your car making sure your kids get to practice... and games. Yup, well these parents have a little something to say about all that...
We've all seen at least a little tiny bit over heard about... the Tv reality show, The Bachelor/Bachelorette. Parents go through this task.... more than three times a day. Lets face it. It will not get easier! Kids are just picky eaters! There is nothing we can do about it. Thankfully, some parents are kind enough to tell us on social media, and to those who may understand what they are going through.... when they need to feed their kids... Dun Dun Dun. (Dramatic music...pause for gasp)
