Fourteen Things Society Deems 'Normal' For Women, But Are Actually Seriously Messed Up

Being a woman is a constant challenge. We get paid significantly less and then objectified significantly more. We're always having to fight for more or less of something because we know damn well that nothing is going to be handed to us. It's amazing how much we put up with when you really think about it. Some things are so deeply instilled into societal norms that we don't even question them ourselves. Those are the scariest things, and the only people who can uncover such oppressive behaviors and call out society for their f**ked up constructs are us.

In this Reddit thread women share the messed up things they have to deal with each and every day.

Fourteen Emails People Regretfully Can Never Take Back

Sending emails can be very overwhelming. It feels disturbingly final when you press send, and for those of us who hate proof-reading, it can be such a drag. It's so easy to clarify a mistake over text, but in emails, it's just embarrassing af for some reason. People get judged so much for how they send emails. Do you end it with "yours truly," "best," or "thanks?" What does yours truly even mean? Is this getting too romantic?

It can also be annoying when the effort put into sending an email is not reciprocated by the respondee. But the worst part, of course, is when you send the wrong thing, and it happens literally all the time. It's far too easy! Sometimes I accidentally sit on my phone and then I see that I'm about to send my boss and picture of my roommate's cat. How??

Fifteen Creepy Facts People Sincerely Wish They Could Un-Learn

It usually is a great feeling to learn something new. Yay, more knowledge! More fun facts to share with friends and family! However, sometimes the kind of information you come by is not family-friendly in the slightest, and you have no interest in spreading it around or even thinking about it when you're alone. For every fun fact, there is a very un-fun fact. When we come into possession of such disturbing facts we are given the choice to ruin other people's innocence as well or keep it buried deep inside our mind for eternity.

Well, there's a Reddit thread that encourages people to share the creepy facts they wish they didn't know, and people definitely delivered. Don't say I didn't warn you!

Brave Woman Flirts Her Way Out An Unsafe Situation, Receives Overwhelming Support

Women unfortunately have to prepare themselves for a lot of situations. It's not fun, at all, but it's something a lot of us have in common. Luckily, more and more, women are encouraged to share their stories. Doing so helps make other people with similar encounters feel slightly better because they realize it is not just their 'issue.'

It will never be okay, but at least we have more of a voice now.

One extremely courageous woman shared her story on Twitter. You may relate to it or even learn something from it. Either way, it's important that we got each other's backs because there's nothing hotter than women supporting women.

Fifteen Aggravating 'Nice Girls Finish Last' Stories

Those who believe in karma would say that doing good things brings more good things. It's not a religious belief, but it shows a slight trust in the universe. Personally, I think that whatever you have to tell yourself in order to keep treating people kindly sounds good to me. Karma can sure as heck take a long time though, and sometimes we can all lose patience. At least we can relate to each other on Reddit.

Post Script: She and I became friends (still are), she had been told we were divorced already and had no idea someone was being hurt.

People Use Twitter As An Outlet To Reveal Wacky Confessions

We all have sketchy thoughts from time to time. It is what it is, we are flawed disgusting human beings. There is no point in trying to hide it anymore! Just kidding the majority of these sound very relatable, weird, but relatable. Sometimes we can think up some crazy logic, and confession is a great way to ease off the guilt of having such thoughts. And it's madly entertaining. Seriously, I live for this stuff, weird confessions, unpopular opinions, hot-takes, they are the best.

Advice from Boomers probably mean well but they are completely out of touch with how the world is these days. Just go up to the front desk and ask if they're hiring? Here are 31 pieces of worthless advice from Boomers. Sorry, Boomers. Sad to say these tweets ring more than true.

EP2: "Lets Talk About Marriage"

Formally; Marriage is recognized as a union of two people as partners in a personal relationship. They sign a legal document in which they are now bonded legally to be together...forever. But some might see this differently. Some might even say that it is a legally binding contract to keep the other from trying to escape... but what's the real deal with marriage and how do women actually feel about it? How did it because a thing that it's every women's and little girls' dream to get married and that marriage is basically the goal? We asked the girls from Bossy what their take is on the whole concept of marriage.

----------

Missed the First Episode of Bossy? You can check it out here!

----------

Bossy, the definition in Urban Dictionary:  "a girl who is the alpha-female or the queen bee. She is gettin paid, stayin fly, and is the leader of her crew. Respected by all, loved by some". It's basically a word used to describe the ultimate cool.

So we decide to gather Bossy women from all over the world and ask them the same questions, 'cause who better than to tell it like it is without the BllSht than the Bosses themselves?

These are different women, from different cultures, all answering the same question.
