Waitress Pissed At Friend Who Refuses To Tip Her After She Wins The Lottery

Waiters and waitresses rely heavily on tips to supplement their wages; it's just a fact of life. Unfortunately, that's the way the industry is, and we all know it needs to change. But until that happens, if you can afford to eat at a restaurant, you can probably afford to leave a tip for your wait staff, especially if they've done a good job. But some people take it upon themselves to determine whether or not their server needs a tip without really knowing their circumstances. One guy took to Reddit's Am I The A—hole, to ask whether or not he was in the wrong for not tipping his waitress friend who had recently won $20K in the lottery.

Every time I eat or with other friends, she would serve our table. She recently won $20,000 from powerball. It's all she could talk about since then and she's ecstatic about it.

Delusional Mom Refuses To Let 25-Year-Old Daughter Sleep In Same Room As Boyfriend

When we are growing up, we have to follow our parent's rules. It's just the way it is. They feed and clothe us, so we basically have to do whatever they say.

"Be home by 11."

"Oookay."

"Finish your homework."

"Oookay"

"No closing doors when a boy is over."

"Ookay."

They make these rules (usually) to keep us safe, productive, and out of trouble. But sometimes our parents can forget that at some point we pay our own bills, buy our own clothes, and have to make our own decisions. At some point, they have to realize that we're not kids anymore, and we've already moved on from the possibility of teen pregnancy.

Almost Embarrassingly Petty Reasons People Refused To Date Someone

Beginning a relationship can be a big step. You're agreeing to let your walls down a little, and let this person in a little. Right before we make the decision to start something new with someone is when all of the potential red flags start flooding in. In fear of being hurt, or having to hurt someone else, we can back out of relationships for seemingly petty reasons. But hey, it's better to back out before it all gets too deep because it's kind of awkward to break up with someone for chewing loudly after being together for 3 years.

Almost Embarrassingly Petty Reasons People Refused To Date Someone| thumbnail text - - DanHero91 · 2h Was at her place and said we'd order pizza. She literally went to the kitchen and came back saying she put the order in. Didn't ask what toppings I wanted, any sides, nothing. G Reply 4 140

Man Refuses To Give Pregnant Woman Seat On Bus, After Long Work Shift

You do some things in life, not because you have to, but because it's the right thing to do. Picking up litter, helping elderly people to cross the road, and giving up your seat on public transport for pregnant women. Most people don't question these unspoken rules of human decency, but you'll find someone who thinks they are exempt from them every now and again. Like this guy who posted on the popular Reddit thread Am I The A-hole, who asked if he was in the wrong for not giving up his seat on the bus for a pregnant lady, even though he "Works 10-hour shifts." In case you can't get an idea of the type of person he is, from that along, he goes on to say, "We live in a state where birth control and abortions are free, so I don't know why this should be my problem. It's not my fault she decided to have a baby when she can't afford a car."

Ummmm. So essentially, and correct me if I'm wrong, he's saying that if you want to feel comfortable on the bus, you should just get an abortion. Ok cool. He sounds like a genuinely upstanding citizen. Not.

Anyway, as you can imagine, Redditers pitched in left, right, and center, telling him just how much of an ahold he is and why he is a sh*tty human being. As always, there were a few people who were on his side (we've included one such response below), but most people were of the consensus that he is a d-bag. Read through his story and the reactions from Redditers and decide if you think he is, indeed, the ahole.

Asshole So last night I'm on the bus, and a very heavily pregnant lady gets on. She looks around for a seat, only to find there are no available ones left. I'm the closest to her, so she starts giving me the imploring eyes. I had my headphones on and tried to pretend I couldn't see her, but once she s
