Woman Refuses To Wear Bra At Work Despite Coworkers Complaints

Being an employee means adhering to specific workplace rules and risking inevitable consequences if you don't. Included in those policies is the dress-code, which will, of course, differ depending on where you work. However, sometimes the rules aren't so clear-cut and can be left open to the employee's interpretation—for example, deciding whether or not wearing a bra is necessary. One woman faced this very problem and posted on Reddit's Am I The A**hole after receiving complaints from her new coworkers about her refusal to wear a bra in the office. She stresses that she didn't wear a bra at her previous job, her nipples weren't on show, and a sweater hid her 'large boobs,' and she was, in her opinion, entirely appropriate. Redditors, however, disagreed and argued that, although it sucks, it was unprofessional and if she didn't like the policy at her new workplace, she should find another job. What do you think?

Crazy Reasons People Missed Work That Were Actually True

We've all had our fair share of "sick days," where we come up with some obscene reason to not go to work. Hey, we're not robots, we need some time to recharge. The only issue is if you keep telling our bosses that your car broke down when it actually does, they might not believe you anymore. It's never good to be the boy who cried wolf. However, sometimes there are just straight-up unexplainable and absurd things that actually cause us to miss work.

Can you think of yours? Here are a few ridiculous examples.

People Disclose Industry Secrets That Nobody Talks About

Every industry has their secrets. They have a certain image they look to put out into the world that may or may not align with how they actually do business. It's called 'growing your brand image.' Employees can get in a lot of trouble for revealing certain secrets and often have to sign NDA's if they're really that pressing. Don't even get us started on Disney. But not every place is as strict, and once their employees move on, they're free to spill the tea.

People Reveal The Inappropriate Things Their Bosses Overshared With Them

Most people develop close relationships with their coworkers in one way or another. When you spend eight hours a day with someone, you'll inevitably share personal issues with them, whether it's your relationship drama or family issues. Some people even have this sort of relationship with their boss if they're fortunate enough. But sometimes, your boss can share personal anecdotes with you that aren't wanted, warranted, or appropriate. Redditors shared some of 'The most TMI thing' their boss ever told them, and these horror stories are proof that real-life Michael Scotts exist way more than we'd want to believe.

I actually had to question him on what he was saying because I couldn't believe that would be something someone would brag about at a high level company function and he was quick to proudly confirm that was exactly what I was hearing.

People Who Got Caught Doing The Dirty At Work, And What Consequences Followed

It is hard to understand what would drive people to start going at it right in the middle of their workspace. But I suppose that is exactly why it is so enticing. There's always a thrill in knowing you may be caught in a very inappropriate location, and possibly even have to face the consequences. Is there a fetish for this? Or do we all just like to feel a little bad sometimes?

On Reddit people are sharing their stories of what happened when they got caught having sex at work. You might find the responses quite titillating.

Passive-Aggressive Email Phrases, Translated

When you spend 40+hours in an office behind a screen, chances are that your coworkers will get on your nerves. Everyone has a bad day, whether it's because of work or stuff going on in your personal life, but societal norms dictate that we have to keep it together in the workplace and not lose our shit. Instead, it has become socially acceptable to become passive-aggressive, which is usually seen best in work emails. These phrases are ones that we can all attest to having used at some point in our careers and show how petty, yet professional you can be while still getting your point across. But here's what they really mean...
