Fashion Fail Of The Week: Chicken Leg Socks

Whatsup fashionistas? I've got another fashion catastrophe for you, which you might want to look at through your fingers because, as usual, it's not pretty. Previously, we've shown you the sandal socks disaster (whats up, dads?) and leggings with graphic pictures of your insides etched onto them. And now, we bring you the chicken feet socks, which are as ugly as they sound. Because who doesn't want to look like they have chicken legs instead of human legs? Not me, but clearly, some people do. I know, I know, they're meant to be a novelty gift gag, but they are just so... ugly! Scroll down and be horrified!

Fashion Fail Of The Week: Ramen Noodles Handbags

If you love spending a lot of money on handbags and love eating Ramen Noodles, then this is the bag made for you. But if you're like the rest of us and have some taste (not for Ramen), then you should probably stay far far away from it. This painfully offensive bag will set you back over $400 and is available on Etsy. It might look good enough to eat, but in my humble opinion, Ramen Noodles should stay away from fashion and remain at the back of the kitchen cupboard, ready for your next hangover. Enjoy scrolling through these pictures of our fashion fail of the week.

Fashion Fail Of The Week: Sandal Socks

For some reason, we take joy in finding the most offensive fashion fails on the internet and sharing them with you. It's like we're saying OK, we couldn't make it as fashion designers, and neither could these people, but they went for it anyway. The latest crime against the fashion world is these sandal socks, which you can find on Amazon. Everyone knows that one of the cardinal sins against fashion is to wear socks with sandals. And all men who wear them have a special place in hell waiting just for them. So why make socks with sandals built-in? Who knows. But here they are, in all their glory.

Fashion Fail Of The Week: Men's Weird And Flamboyant Catwalk Looks

Fashion shows are for designers to showcase their upcoming designs, which then influence, and determine what will be "in" for the forthcoming season. The looks seen on the catwalk inspire designs found in high street brands, which will be sold en-mass to the general public. But sometimes, catwalk looks can be so striking, outlandish, and downright bizarre that you might confuse them with something you'd wear on Halloween. Like these designs below, for example, which I can't imagine anyone wearing off the catwalk. We love bringing you weekly fashion fails, and these certainly takes the cake. What are your thoughts?

Fashion Fail Of The Week: The Faceskini, AKA Swimwear For Your Face

If there's one thing we love, it's taking the p*ss out of crimes against fashion. Previously, we've bought you the leggings designed to look like muscles, just in case you needed reminding of what your legs look like on the inside. We've also shown you the sandals that look like you're wearing dead fish on your feet, the reason for their creation I can't even begin to fathom. And now, we bring you the Facekini. Yes, that's right; there is swimwear designed for your face. Originally surfacing in China in 2012, this offensive fashion faux-pas was intended to protect swimmer's faces from the sun, algae and jellyfish stings. Practical? Yes. Highly offensive? Also yes. Scroll through and check out just how bad they look!

Vintage Ads Which Were Highly Offensive Towards Women

Full gender equality might still not be where it needs to be, but we've certainly come a long way over the past half a century. Travel back just 50 or-so-years-ago, and the world was not an easy place to be a woman. Where assisting men to become great achievers was their highest accolade, women didn't have much hope for being taken seriously. With companies insulting and belittling women as marketing strategies to sell their products, it was indeed a man's world.

These vintage ads give us an idea of just how little empowerment, rights, or power women had back in the day. Check out the horrors below.

Fashion Fail Of The Week: Fish Sandals

Each time we come across a fashion crime, we share it with you; not because we want to promote the atrocities, but because they're too good to keep to ourselves. We've brought you croc handbags, and men's lace summer shorts, and now we're bringing you fish sandals. If there was ever anything to NOT wear on your feet, it would be these. Scroll through if you're brave enough, and look at this offensive fashion feet fail.

Real Advice From The 1950s On Finding A Husband: Feed The Pigeons

But I refuse to believe that it's impossible and I firmly hold onto the idea that true romance is still achievable. But has love always been this hard to find? Bad Little Children's Books: The Sinister Parodies of Classic Children’s Tales

When you think of children's books, you probably picture fairytales filled with innocence and joy. Which they usually are; unless they're part of illustrator Arthur C. Gackley's Bad Little Children's Books collection. Filled with covers of satirical, sinister parodies of innocent kids' books from the mid 20th century, they are politically incorrect, offensive, and oh-so-frickin-funny. Scroll through and unleash the inner bad child inside of you.

Real Advice From The 1950s On Finding A Husband: Vacation Wisely

In 2012, the invention of Tinder changed the landscape of love, dating, and relationships as we know it. Gone are the days where flirting required real-life, face-to-face interaction — instead, welcome to the age of virtual romance, where your next hook up is only one swipe away. As a woman who uses dating apps, I know how easy it is to feel like a small disposable fish in an endlessly big pond of younger, better looking, and more heavily photoshopped fish. But I often wonder if courtship was really that much easier before online dating took over, or whether the struggle to find good-quality men has been one that women have faced since the dawn of time...?
