Throwing a party can be very stressful, especially when you're inviting your family. Although there is 'unconditional love' in the air, there will also be unconditional judgement coming from all sides of the clan. Nobody will tell you like it is like a toxic family member, but the only issue is that you probably never asked for their input in the first place. Sometimes it is best to keep certain relatives at arm's length, or maybe just limit your contact with them to Facebook.
