Millennials will unite in reminiscing about the good old days of the 80s and 90s, where Blockbusters was the only place to be on a Friday night, and making a mixtape was the only way to show someone you had a crush on them. Generation Z is all over the place these days. They decide the trends, cancel the millennials, and make very questionable decisions online. I think many of them have not fully internalized the idea that everything they put on the internet is permanent. If they're going to go around cancelling people, they need to make sure everything they post is extremely woke and correct. It can be very difficult to do so when your entire life is plastered all over social media.

But at least it's entertaining for the rest of us.

A lot of things get better when you reach adulthood. You get more independence, more rights, you can make your own money and spend it on literally whatever you want. You can buy a birthday cake whenever you want! 365 a year. Yep. There are so many exciting things about getting older. Still, however, it can feel weird to realize that you are older. Generation Z is full of surprises. One day they'll start a worldwide movement, and other days they'll be scarfing down tide pods. You never know what to expect with people who are literally too young to remember JT with frosted tips — and what a time that was to be alive. These kids are not to be underestimated, they will literally cancel you for the way you part your hair, but at the same time celebrate all forms of love. Sometimes they need to be humbled, but sometimes they need to be celebrated. It depends on the vibe.
