Food insecurity is a real issue in the US. Depending on your age, budget, and location, the kinds of food you have access to can be extremely different. In most major cities you can find a wide variety of cheap meals, and bargain prices even on healthy foods. But if you live in a more rural area, unless you are lucky enough to have a garden or farm nearby, the closest place to grab food might be a Mcdonald's or a little gas station.
