Ghosting is when a person completely and unexpectedly cuts off all forms of communication with you and gives you little to no reason as to why. This 'ghosting' phenomenon has plagued the dating game for far too long and it f*cking sucks. Everyone gets ghosted sometimes. We are also all guilty of ghosting other people as well, sometimes even on accident. People used to have to go to great lengths to keep up a relationship with someone. If you set a time to meet up with a friend in the '80s, that was it, you couldn't text them and tell them that you're not feeling it 30 minutes before, you had to either show up or stand them up.  

Nowadays it is so damn easy to contact someone, but still, the thought of messaging someone back can sometimes feel like such an exertion of effort.  So, we ghost, and we get ghosted, and we make clowns out of people, and slowly we all become more and more antisocial. What a time to be alive.
