You may have thought that magic would stop Harry Potter from falling into the usual mid-life crisis pitfalls that befall us all, but you'd be wrong. Or at least you would be, according to SomeECards, who have reimagined Harry Potter as a slightly dull, balding white-collar worker. These funny but sad stories probably aren't what J. K. Rowling had in mind for Harry following the events in Deathly Hallows, but I guess even wizards peak at some point, and then, as with the rest of us, it's downhill from there.

Nothing can prepare you for the challenging yet rewarding journey of parenthood. Sure, there are parenting books, websites, and experts who can tell you all about what to expect, but it's all theoretical until you experience it yourself. And even then, some parents manage to f*ck it up in a big way, which makes me believe even more that parenting is a privilege, not a right. Someone has created some hilariously satirical cartoons about the do's and don'ts of parenting, probably paying homage to the parents who don't have a clue. Learning the ABC is a significant milestone for children because it is the first step towards learning how to read and write. Most children use alphabet books with corresponding pictures or information to help them memorize the letters; A is for apple, B is for ball. The pictures help capture the imagination of children and also learn about the world. But who says education needs to stop at adulthood? Illustrator Toby Leigh has created ABC for Adults — "twisting the meaning of innocent, childlike words into hysterically funny yet terrifying adult themes." According to his website, Toby made the parody version of "the classic ABC books from yesteryear" because, "Unfortunately, we all grew up and became paranoid, cynical adults filled with fear and hatred. But don't despair, this new book will help guide you and your family through this difficult phase of your existence." Fashion shows are for designers to showcase their upcoming designs, which then influence, and determine what will be "in" for the forthcoming season. The looks seen on the catwalk inspire designs found in high street brands, which will be sold en-mass to the general public. But sometimes, catwalk looks can be so striking, outlandish, and downright bizarre that you might confuse them with something you'd wear on Halloween. Like these designs below, for example, which I can't imagine anyone wearing off the catwalk. We love bringing you weekly fashion fails, and these certainly takes the cake. What are your thoughts?

It doesn't take a lot to become famous or go viral nowadays. All you need is a social media and some creativity (even that's debatable), and you can call yourself an influencer. Essentially, today it's easy to find a niche, do it well, and become an Instagram star overnight.  A great example of people who maximized this opportunity is Pierce Thiot and his wife. They created and run a bizarre Instagram account called Will It Beard, which is devoted entirely to the couple sticking things into Pierce's beard and photographing the results. It has amassed over 72K followers on Instagram and is about as creative as it gets! Who knew there was so much space inside a beard!?

The Middle Ages were some dark times. With murder and pillaging being part of everyday life, it's a wonder anyone survived it. But because of the chill attitude towards killing and death, medieval art depicts it somewhat disturbingly, giving us a potential insight into the times' mindset. As you can see in the medieval artwork below, the people getting murdered don't seem to give a d*mn; the victims look bored, and the murderers look like they're having a great time.  I guess when murder is normalized, it isn't that big of a deal anymore? What a strange time to be alive! 

Sometimes, all you need is a piece of life advice written on a hilarious and unsuspecting place to brighten your day. Whether it's in the supermarket or stuck to a tree, Jeff Wysaski produces the funny life hacks we all need. The creator behind the comedy websites Pleated Jeans and Obvious Plant, Jeff has been placing these entertaining posters all over town, and they're brilliant. Mr. Bean was one of those classic 'I don't know why this is funny, but it just is' shows. For a guy who barely spoke, he somehow managed to make everyone laugh, which is a particular skill that not many actors or comedians have. So how about a little reminder of how funny Mr. Bean was, with some pictures of his face photoshopped onto famous Hollywood characters, that someone somewhere had the ingenuity to create? Somehow these are almost as funny as watching him on TV, so my conclusion is that his humor is in his face. What do you think?

The internet is truly at it's best when people compare celebrities to inanimate objects, and this haul might be one of the best we've seen. Facebook group Walthamstow (unofficial) Tourist Board has created an album comparing celebrities to mattresses, and it's so accurate, it hurts. Scroll through to see what I mean.

Fashion changes over the years, and sometimes we look back at things that were fashionable back in the day, and we blush at how bad they looked. It's crazy how much our perception of what is cool and acceptable is based on what society dictates it to be. Take a look through these ridiculous male underwear ads from the 1970s, and you'll see how my point is proven repeatedly.

OK, I know it's mean to make fun of babies, and that all babies are beautiful. It's just that some babies look like they need to grow into their faces a bit until they fill out, and until they do, there's a middle-aged man look about them. Is it just me? Gone are the days when supermarkets need to use million-dollar advertising campaigns to get their name out there. Some are going for more of a personal approach in getting the job done, like Walmart North East in Maryland. They have started to use an employee of the branch - Charlene - to pose with different products and then posting her photos on their Facebook page. The pictures are hilarious because Charlene's moody expression is in juxtaposition to her laid-back attitude. The supermarket branch has even started a petition for Ellen Degeneres to host Charlene on her show, and you can sign the petition here.

Celebrity photoshops are a whole world of their own. The internet is full of various edited pictures of celebrities in different altered states, from putting Nicolas Cage's face on all Hollywood roles to full-on gender swaps. But perhaps one of the best we've come across is this gallery of celebs with no teeth. It's equally terrifying and hilarious, and we're in awe of these masterful photoshop skills.

As you're probably well aware by now, the internet never fails to surprise, shock, and amuse. But if we had to pick one place where the best of the weird and the wonderful come together, it's Reddit. There is genuinely a subReddit on anything and everything, including, as it turns out, a community of people who eat oranges in the shower. Yes, you read that correctly. There are people who choose to eat citrus fruit in the shower because, well, I'm not sure why. Maybe they get less sticky that way? After his "manchildren" roommates continuously ignored his requests to clean up after themselves, he took a different approach and started labeling their messes as if they were modern art pieces. From "Sour Cream-Covered Spoon Left In Sink Before Leaving Town For Four Days," to "Shoes on Shoe Rack (Nearly)," his pictures quickly went viral, gaining popularity for his hilarious approach to the messy situation.
