Wife Pissed At Husband After He Asks Her To Cook Him Separate Meals When She's On Diet

Being on a diet isn't easy, but it's especially tough when you're living with someone who isn't. Watching them eat all the foods you are restricting can be a hard temptation, but diets are a personal choice, and no one else should have to limit themselves for you just because you've decided to diet. Sure, you can be mindful of what you eat in front of someone, but that's about it. One married couple is butting heads over the correct way to go about one of them dieting, and the husband posted on Reddit's Am I The A—hole for some moral support.

Wife Pissed At Husband After He Asks Her To Cook Him Separate Meals When She's On Diet | thumbnail text - Posted by u/maybenotenough 3 days ago AITA for asking my wife if when she cooks, she can just make normal foods for me and use smaller portions? My wife gained some weight over the past year and was already overweight, so she wanted to make change. She's also pretty short, so the amount of calories she needs to eat is a lot lower than me. I'm 6'4 and an average weight for my height.

It's been quite a year, and many of the ordinary day-to-day activities we used to do have taken a back seat as we struggle through our bizarre new reality. It turns out, one of those things was the simple act of cooking dinner, which seems to have become way too arduous for the general public. Because let's be honest, after a long day of work and looking after the kids, who has time to cook anything fancier than a bowl of spaghetti hoops? And that's on a good day. These hilarious tweets reveal just how over it people have become with cooking dinner over the past year, showcasing the alternatives they've come up with instead. As it turns out, it doesn't take a lot to reach rock bottom. Please tell me I'm not the only one who relates to these?

People Fight On Twitter Over What The 'Bottom-Tier Fruit' Are

Everybody has their favorite fruit, they are all so different. Some are juicy, sweet, sour — there's really one for everyone. But each person also has a least favorite fruit as well, and for whatever reason March 22, 2021, was the day people decided to roast their least favorite fruits on Twitter. It looks like it got quite political, fruits are nothing to joke about. Just wait till people start roasting their bottom-tier veggies. There may be casualties.

But actually, this is a hilarious thread, it was just the kind of content I needed in my life today. Maybe you too.

Large Servings Of Food Movie Goers Snuck Into Theatres: Twitter Thread

Back in the not-so-distant-past when movie theatres were open, there was nothing better than going to your local cinema with your gal pals on a Saturday night, armed with snacks to watch the latest rom-com. A big bucket of sweet and salty popcorn and two hours of Matthew McConaughey? Yes, please! But one thing that never failed to enhance our cinematic experience was the thrill of sneaking real food into the movie theatre and getting away with it. Whether it was a slice of pizza in our purse or a burrito up our sleeve, everything tasted better when we knew we'd snuck it past security. Twitter user @LocalSoundwave asked people to share the foods they've snuck into movie theatres, and the responses reveal just how daring people are. Oh, the guilty thrills of doing something wrong!

Vintage Beauty Pageant Queens Of The Food Industry

I think it's safe to say that the concept of beauty pageants is somewhat outdated, at least in their original format of judging and ranking contestants' physical attributes only. But nestled among the beauty pageants of old are the lesser-known vintage food-themed contests, which saw women's beauty celebrated alongside various produce. From Miss Idaho Potato, 1935 to Donut Queen, 1951, here is the only beauty pageant I will endorse. Mixing food with fashion is something I will always support, and celebrating food, in general, is a worthy endeavor. So scroll through these bizarre pictures of the food industry's beauty queens and be as baffled but amazed as I am at their splendor.

Self-Taught Baker Creates Jaw-Dropping Geometric Pies

Whoever says that food isn't art, have never seen these insane geometric pies, created by self-taught baker Lauren Ko. Her famous colorful pies each have their own unique pattern, which are so accurately intricate, they look like they're made of plastic. Lauren has just brought out her first cookbook called Pieometry, which shows you how to recreate your own pie masterpieces. I know what I'll be serving for the holiday season this year!

People Reveal 'Weird But Life-Changing' Cooking Hacks

The world is divided into two types of people: those who cook and those who don't. Those who don't get takeout or buy microwave meals, and those who do, take pride in their work (mostly). They all have their secret tips and trips to make recipes easier and tastier, which they've discovered along the way or learned from their mom or grandma. Discovering cooking hacks happens to be a passion of mine, and I'm always eager to find new ways to improve my recipes. People reveal their "weird, but life-changing" cooking hacks in this Reddit thread, uncovering some real gems. Please scroll down to read them and get yourself one step closer to being a (somewhat) professional chef.

For me, I have two. The first is using a chicken stock cube (Knorr if I'm feeling boujee, but usually those cheap 99p a box ones) in my pasta water whilst the pasta cooks.

Pictures Of Food Which Will Make Your Inner Chef Squirm

I love all things food. I love eating (Italian mainly - specifical pasta), but I also love cooking. I put a lot of love and energy into my food prep, so it honestly makes me die a little inside when I see images like these. And if you're somewhat of a chef or foodie, then these awful food fail pics will probably have the same effect on you. Instagram account @totallygourmet is full of pictures that, according to their homepage is "Totally crème de la crème", but in my opinion, they're more "Totally crime de la crème".

If you're anything like me, you've had times where you've eaten so much that you've put yourself into a food coma. Japanese Mom Creates Works Of Art In Food For Her Kids

Some kids will eat anything and everything. And by some, I mean basically none. Any parent will attest to the fact that kids can be a nightmare when it comes to eating; most are incredibly picky and limit themselves to one or two things — usually chicken nuggets and chips, and nothing with any nutritional value. Mealtimes become a battle, usually ending up with kids going on hunger strikes and parents inevitably giving in and admitting defeat. One Japenese mom decided to combat this issue by turning her picky daughter's food into animated works of art to get her to eat healthily. Whether it's eggs in the shape of Winnie the Pooh or sushi snowmen, we're sure her daughter scoffs her mother's food down pretty quickly. Check out her incredible talent below.
