Father Cuts Off Young Daughter's Hair Because She Doesn't 'Maintain It' Properly

Parenting is one of the most challenging jobs in the world, especially when you're a single parent. Parents don't always get it right; in fact, most of the time, they screw up. But the sign of a good parent is one who can admit their mistakes and apologize to their kids when they get it wrong. One dad posted on Reddit, wanting to know how badly he had f*cked up when he cut his daughter's hair. He explained that he is a single parent and struggles to maintain his seven-year-old daughter's hair, which she refuses to take any responsibility for herself. After many discussions with her, he finally cut her hair, which she found very distressing. His mother and sister told him that it was the wrong move, but he is unsure. Redditors gave mixed responses, with many telling him that his reasoning was fair, but the way he carried it out wasn't OK. Below is his account; scroll through and tell us what you think. Is this bad parenting, or were his actions justified?

I've warned her over the last year that if she doesn't start brushing her hair at least twice a day, we're getting it cut shorte

Dad Photoshops Baby Into Dangerous Situations To Horrify Mom

Dads often get a bad rep when it comes to parental responsibilities, and if this guy is anything to go off, we have no idea why. Not! Kenny Deuss from Belgium has taken parenting humor to a whole new level by photoshopping his baby daughter into various dangerous situations and sending them to the baby's mom whenever she checks in on them. The first time nearly gave her a heart attack, and we're not surprised. From browsing a baby gun website to sitting on cliff edges, to being trapped in a washing machine, Kenny certainly knows how to make a picture raise some eyebrows. Thankfully since then, she has gotten used to this odd parenting style and even looks forward to them. But she sure must have a lot of patience for Kenny and his antics. Check out some of his hilarious photoshop works of art below, and you can visit his Instagram page for more of his masterpieces.

Dad Makes Daughter Do Chores In Return For Menstrual Products, Internet Totally Loses It

We all judge other people; it's human nature. Everyone thinks they know best, although they rarely do. The subreddit r/AmItheA–hole is a great place to go if you're feeling judgy, because it's practically full of people questioning their culpability in various situations, looking for public approval. Look, if you have to ask the public if you're an a-hole, then the odds are that you probably are one. Like the dad who posted, asking, "AITA for expecting my daughter to do chores?"

At first glance, you might think, no, chores are an essential life skill for children to learn so that they learn responsibility, cleanliness, and how to keep their own house one day. But the father goes on to explain that she does the chores because he has to "spend extra on my daughter each month not only for her extracurriculars but for her monthly supplies, so it's my way of having her pay me back. She cleans the shared living spaces and bathrooms in our apartment and cooks four meals a week. My brother said I spend twice as much on my son's extracurriculars, and by my logic, he should have to do chores too. I explained he didn't because I feel his could help him get into college, but hers were just a hobby, in my opinion."

Yep, that's right, this madman's sexist double standards is period-shaming his daughter into doing the job of a housekeeper while her brother sits by and does nothing. All while he blatantly disregards his family's attempt to intervene when his daughter leaves home (not surprisingly). Scroll down for the comments left by other Redditors who lost it at this backward, lunatic of a man who does not deserve to be a parent. As one user put it, "The 50s called, they don't want you either."

Ungrateful Husband Angry At Wife For Leaving Him 'Stranded' When She Puts Baby To Bed

Parenting is one of the most difficult jobs a person can have. Many people amazingly manage to do it all on their own, but obviously the more help the better. Even though we don't live in 1952 anymore, many families still adhere to the nuclear family structure where all of the housework responsibility is loaded the wife. This structure is getting less and less common, but you'd be surprised how many people still find this to be the ideal...

Dads Who Totally Lost It In The Delivery Room

Women are inherently stronger than men. How do we know this? Because no man would willingly give birth or go through labor pains. The proof in the pudding is these dads who totally lost it during the delivery of their children. Even though they weren't going through the physical pain themselves, they couldn't handle the heat. Men, get out of the freaking kitchen delivery room if you can't handle the heat.

Iconic Father's Day Tweets From Dads Who Deserve A Raise, Or At Least A Long Nap

Father's Day is upon us once again. This year is basically guaranteed to be better than the last due to... obvious reasons. Luckily there are many more options if you're looking for a fun place to take your old man. Don't ask us what to buy him though, it has (un)officially been decided that dads are the hardest people to buy gifts for — a close second being older brothers. How many ties can a man possibly own after all?
