Dads Who Totally Lost It In The Delivery Room

Women are inherently stronger than men. How do we know this? Because no man would willingly give birth or go through labor pains. The proof in the pudding is these dads who totally lost it during the delivery of their children. Even though they weren't going through the physical pain themselves, they couldn't handle the heat. Men, get out of the freaking kitchen delivery room if you can't handle the heat.

New Dad Discovers Things Men Have No Clue About When It Comes To Childbirth

While men are generally very involved in the creation of a child, they're usually pretty clueless when it comes to the actual birth of their child. It seems like there's this fundamental knowledge about pregnancy and childbirth that all women know but men never got the memo about. Don't worry, I'm here to help. My wife just gave birth to our first child and man oh man did I learn a lot in a short time. It's kinda like trial by fire where you think you're prepared and then the doctors tell you your baby is enormous and you have five minutes to agree to do a c-section or else you're a bad parent. But I digress… Let's discover some of the things you have no clue about that you might encounter when your partner goes into labor.

People Confess The Ridiculous Ways They Thought Babies Were Born

Why does it take so long for us to understand how babies are born? When kids don't get explained something clearly, that's when their imaginations start to run amok. Unless you were a key witness at your younger siblings' birth, it's unlikely you knew exactly what went down until an embarrassingly late age. Eventually, they have to teach you in school exactly what happens. But until that point, all we can do is make up what seems the most likely in our little child brains.

On Reddit people are sharing how they imagined childbirth before they understood what went down, and it just proves how much e ought to invest in sex-Ed.

Husband Misses Birth Of Child, Blames Wife, Gets Roasted

Anyone who has given birth will agree that labor is a pretty much all-consuming activity. All you can—and should be—focusing on is getting yourself to the hospital as quickly as possible. It would help if you didn't have to worry about tracking down your partner while doing so, who had made themselves as unavailable as possible. It sounds like an absurd scenario, right? Well, one woman who posted on Reddit's Am I The A-hole faced this very scenario when she couldn't reach her husband when she was in labor. After failing to respond to her texts and calls, she called a friend to take her to the hospital. Her husband, who only looked at his phone at the end of the workday, was p*ssed at her for not going via his office to get him, so that he could be there for the birth of their daughter. Of course, the internet jumped to the woman's defense, calling her husband out for being a massive a-hole.
