Everything that goes down in movies always seems so picture-perfect. Yes, there's plenty of conflict along the way, but after a wild ride with the protagonist, the issues get resolved and everyone lives happily ever after. But that's precisely what makes it a movie. As much as we wish everything in our lives would work out, there's no way of knowing what's going to happen, and it often doesn't work out the way we want it to. A Redditor started a thread asking fellow Redditors about classic movie things that never happen in real life, and the responses taught me a couple of things along the way. Sometimes I think that I'd be great on a season of "The Bachelor," but then I remember that it's all acting, and I'm a terrible actress. What's the point of calling it reality TV if it's the opposite of reality? This is why I have trust issues y'all! A Redditor started a thread asking people who have been featured on reality TV shows what it's really like behind-the-scenes, and it's actually super interesting. Have a peek below. 

A lot of the time we seek our parent's approval on things. After all, they used to be the only two people we looked up to. But after some point, you realize your parents are just people with flaws, who sometimes have opinions that you don't agree with, and that's okay. We are many to make our own decisions and even make our own mistakes. If you're an adult, and your parents aren't financing that decision, they don't really need to be involved at all.

One nosy mom decided she didn't like her daughter's new job and legitimately tried to call her boss and get her terminated. Now, her daughter, on the 'Am I the A-hole' page on Reddit, is seeking validation in her decision to ignore her mother's wishes.

Award shows are always unpredictable, but now that the world is completely flipped upside down, there's an additional fun layer of 'What the hell is going on?' at every televised event. Still, for many of us, it's an evening we can all take to pretend things are almost back to normal, and find comfort in all of the mishaps and uncomfortable speeches that consistently take place. This year there were no falls on the red carpet, or awards that had to be revoked. But there were definitely a lot of other things to comment on. Twitter thankfully covered all the bases very quickly.

There are a lot of amazing actors out there, some of them, however, have one very successful role and that becomes all that they are recognized for cough cough, Ferris Bueller, cough cough. There are other movie stars that are able to completely transform themselves into every role that comes their way, sometimes to the point that you forget who the actor even was in the first place.

The newest way to explain how some actors just 'get it,' is by tweeting some of their famous roles and saying, 'They UNDERSTOOD the assignment.' It might not make sense to you now, but, rest assured, after you see a couple of these, it'll start to make sense.

These incredible pictures show the steps that makeup artists had to go through to totally transform these actors into totally unrecognizable states; a process that takes hours and hours. Imagine having to sit through that every. Single. Day! All for our entertainment (and a nice big paycheck!)

The make-up and prosthetics department in the cinema world brings the characters to life! They do such an incredible job at transforming stars into their characters, sometimes it's unreal how life-like they look. Plain and simple, what they do is art. 

I mean, just look at a majority of Gary Oldman movies -- the guy is a total chameleon but he wouldn't be as such without an incredible make-up team behind him! Still a fantastic actor though. If you're reading this Gary Oldman, we love you!

Have you ever thought about who would play who in a live-action version of Disney's Atlantis? Probably not. However, if it were to ever happen someone has created the dream team to make it happen and honestly, we are so down. It's a bit scary just how accurate these actors would fit these roles:
