Women Disclose Moments They Called Out And Shut Down Misogynists

Women are constantly talked down to, people look at us like we literally know nothing and then stroke their egos by going out of their way to mansplain the most basic of things to us. Often in these scenarios, it's just easier to sit there and let them make a fool out of themselves. But we all fantasize about calling them out and shutting down their BS. Is there anything more satisfying in this world than humiliating a misogynist? We'll wait.

Tweets About Cringy Mansplaining Which Are Almost Too Painful To Read

Mansplaining has been around for centuries, if not millenniums. You can bet that cavemen mansplained to cavewomen how to build a fire whilst they were already doing it to cook food every day. Corrective dysfunction is nothing new, the only difference is that today people actually get called out for vomiting out complete nonsense when literally nobody asked. It honestly never gets old to see people putting mansplainers on blast every day on Twitter. In terms of calling men out on their BS, we've come so far, and it so inspiring we could cry.

Cringe-Worthy Tweets About People Who Mansplain Like It's Their Literal Job

Mansplaining is definitely not a new phenomenon, but it is quite impressive how people keep developing new and creative ways to mansplain the sh*t out of everything to more and more victims each year The most amazing part is that not a single soul has ever asked them to do it either. People who mansplain genuinely think they're making the world a better place. Maybe it's better to let them think that, their fragile egos simply could not handle the truth at this point.

Enjoy these cringe-worthy mansplaining Tweets, maybe you'll learn something! (You probably won't)

Women Expose The Most Irritating Things They Are Tired Of Hearing Everyday

As women, we have to put up with a lot of BS. It's basically our part-time job. People underestimate us or assume things based on how we look, speak, talk, walk. I've literally had men come up to me and say, "OMG you actually have thoughts, that's rad." And no, they were not being sarcastic. Every woman deals with these demeaning comments in different ways, but we can probably all relate to how irritating they can be in real-time.

Weekly Dose Of Mansplaining Tweets

It's time to address the fact that not all mansplainers are male-identifying. Anyone has the potential to be a mansplainer. It's quite a simple feat. All you have to do is insert your opinion when literally nobody asked. You can start by giving someone a glance, then assume that they are thirsty for information that only you can provide, and then go ahead and proceed to murder their ears with this unsolicited information. They may not appear appreciative in the moment, but surely they will thank you later via Twitter, just like these people.

Enjoy your weekly cringy Tweets about mansplaining.

Weekly Dose Of Mansplaining Tweets

Is there a mansplainer awareness group yet? It seems a lot of these people could use an outlet. A place where they can freely correct people even though everyone in the room knows there was nothing to correct. There must be some kind of dopamine release that occurs in a mansplainer whenever he gets the privilege of uttering the words, "Well actually..." I can't imagine the struggle.

Here are some more tweets about people who suffer from correctile dysfunction. Pray for them!

Girl Gets Chastised For Wearing 'Revealing' Pajama's Near Younger Brothers' Friends

Women are always getting judged and objectified for how they dress. At school, in the office, on the street, at the gym. Really this list could go on for days. But the one place we should supposedly be safe is in our homes, right? Apparently wrong. A 17-year-old girl got scolded by her mother for wearing pyjamas that were too 'showy' when her little brother had friends over for a sleepover. Unless she had it all hanging out in some see-through lingerie set (which I highly doubt), this story just reaks of internalized misogyny.

On Reddit's 'Am I The A-hole' page, this teen wants to know if she is the A-hole for not wearing modest pyjamas in her own home.

TikTokers Expose The Worst Things They've Ever Been Mansplained

Honestly, the mansplainers of the world should start really feeling nervous because women simply do not take it anymore. If you mansplain, you should prepare to be put on blast all over social media for weeks following your decision. And rightfully so.

Right now there is a trend on Tiktok where challenge others to share the worst thing they've ever been mansplained, these people did not hold back. Some of these 'explanations' are painful to hear.

Weekly Dose Of Mansplaining Tweets (May 12, 2021)

Men have this extremely interesting ability to insert their opinion when literally nobody asked. I wonder who gave them the idea that we are all in need of their constant guidance. Maybe they're born with it, maybe it's Maybelline.

No, but seriously, mansplainers need to be told to sit down. There needs to be a consensus that we all have, or else this chronic correctile dysfunction will never cease to exist.

People Who Eloquently Clapped Back At Men Who Tried To Put Down Women

Being a woman, people are always trying to put us down. It gets pretty old pretty fast, but at least it gives us many opportunities to work on our clever comebacks. A lot of the time, it's not even worth our breath to respond to these fools, but occasionally, the perfect clap-back appears out of nowhere in our mind and it's clearly somebody above telling us to destroy the a-hole in front of us. Here are some women (and men!) who perfectly clapped back at some misogynistic jerks. They really had it coming.

Weekly Dose Of Mansplaining Tweets (May 5, 2021)

Isn't wonderful that we have mansplainers roaming the streets all over the world. If there is ever a time we feel like being explained something that we already know, there's someone eager to do it! Without fail, men are so generous when it comes to mansplaining. You don't even have to ask! In fact, it's customary that you don't. Mansplainers thrive when people literally don't ask. They prefer to force you into the uncomfortable position of having to listen to them until they've finished petting their ego. It must take years of practice to become such a skilled mansplainer.

Most Ridiculous Things People Ever Wrote About Women

The internet is full of inaccurate information, so being mindful about where you get your facts, especially those that seem like they could be true, is essential. But some things on the wonderful world wide web are so utterly ridiculous that they are funny — especially when it comes to men making assumptions and bold statements about women, which are factually incorrect. Mansplainers are unbearable at the best of times, but when they make misogynistic, sexist, and insulting claims that are simply false, it just adds salt to the wound. Reddit is an endless source of these types of posts, and we've collected some of the best examples of men writing absurd things about women. Scroll through and be amazed at the level of stupidity that some people reach.

Sexist Tweets From Men Which Prove They Know Nothing About Women

Women have to deal with sexism basically every day of their lives. At home, at school, at work, at the grocery store... it's a nonstop phenomenon. It's not new either, women have been oppressed from as far as my history books went at school. The only difference nowadays is that there's a new location for women to get sh*t on by disgusting men, yep, you guessed it: Twitter! The only issue is, I don't think these men understand how clueless they come off, so now it's our turn to roast them right back. Buckle your seat ladies, some of these are painfully idiotic.

Weekly Dose Of Mansplaining Tweets (April 28, 2021)

It must be really hard for mansplainers in this world today. In the past, it was totally acceptable to talk to women as if they were idiots, because, well, women weren't even allowed to be educated. Odds are women were less intelligent than men and needed to be explained things. However, I don't think the mansplainers got the memo that there are actually more women in university than men in the US. So odds are, the woman you're trying to mansplain the economy to actually knows more about it than you. She may have even written her thesis on it. Maybe check yourself before you wreck yourself mansplainers...

Weekly Dose Of Mansplaining Tweets (April 21, 2021)

It is super exciting to learn new things. The world is full of things we do not understand yet, and it is those who are unapologetically curious that end up with the most valuable knowledge. We gain knowledge through experiences, through research, and course from word of mouth. The only time it's not fun to gain new info is when there is some chad mansplaining you something he knows absolutely nothing about. Yep, in these cases, most of us could live without that 'knowledge.'

Now, enjoy the best mansplaining tweets we saw this week.

Seemingly Harmless Everyday Things That Scream 'Sexism'

It can be worrying how deeply embedded sexism is in our everyday lives. Sometimes misogynistic norms can become so accepted that we forget to question them. A lot of women are confronted with these contradictions when they are asked something like, "Why do you shave your legs in the winter? Or really, at all?" A lot of us subscribe to the notion that we just feel more comfortable or cleaner when we have smooth legs, but how much of that is true? If we had grown up in an alternate universe where nobody put a razor on their skin, and women in films were au naturel, would we still want to shave it all off?

On Reddit, women are sharing seemingly harmless things that are really sexist, this thread may make you reconsider why you have made certain choices in your life.
